Diocese of Embu Caritas Mbeu Marks Customer Service Week Through Community Outreach

The Diocese of Embu Caritas Mbeu marked the 2026 Customer Service Week from 5th to 9th October through outreach activities across various markets and towns in Embu County. The initiative focused on promoting Mbeu Program’s services, strengthening customer relationships, and bringing services closer to members of the community.

Throughout the week, staff engaged with customers, shared information about available services and provided financial advice to members. The outreach offered an opportunity for direct interaction with the community, enabling customers to seek guidance, understand available financial solutions and learn more about Caritas Embu Mbeu’s services.

The outreach activities were conducted as follows;
- Monday, 5th October: Kiritiri
- Tuesday, 6th October: Ishiara Market
- Wednesday, 7th October: Runyenjes Market
- Thursday, 8th October: Muraru Market and Kimangaru Market
- Friday, 9th October: Siakago Market

By taking services directly to the community, the Diocese of Embu Mbeu programme reaffirmed its commitment to accessible customer service, financial awareness and meaningful engagement with its members.
The week concluded with Caritas Embu staff coming together to cut a cake in celebration of Customer Service Week. The moment marked the end of the five-day celebration and provided an opportunity for staff to reflect on the importance of customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continued improvement in service delivery.

The 2026 Customer Service Week activities reinforced the importance of listening to customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring that services remain accessible and responsive to the communities served by the Diocese of Embu.
