Diocese of Embu Caritas at the Diocese’s Ruby Jubilee
Celebrating 40 Years of Impact
- Date: September 19, 2026
- Location: Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish
The Diocese of Embu Caritas proudly joined the entire Catholic Diocese of Embu in celebrating its historic 40th Anniversary on September 19, 2026. Held at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish, the ruby jubilee was a monumental occasion of faith, community, and thanksgiving.
As an arm of the church dedicated to holistic development and social welfare, Caritas Embu played an active role in both the liturgies and the exhibitions.
Key Highlights of Our Participation:
- Program Showcase: Caritas set up an interactive display highlighting its flagship Agrovet and Mbeu Programs, offering parishioners and visitors a firsthand look at agricultural inputs, sustainable farming solutions and community empowerment initiatives.
- Liturgical Support: Demonstrating a spirit of servant leadership, Caritas staff and volunteers served with dedication as ushers, welcoming congregants, and assisting clergy during Holy Communion.
We thank everyone who visited our exhibition booth and congratulate the Diocese of Embu on four decades of spiritual growth and community transformation.
