Farewell Celebration for ACCRI Volunteers at Iriamurai Parish

On 19th March 2026, the Diocese of Embu Caritas community gathered at Iriamurai Parish for a heartfelt farewell celebration honoring two dedicated ACCRI/DOE Caritas volunteers, Bianca Njeri and Rosella Mumbi, who have faithfully served for the past two years.
The joyful event brought together the outgoing volunteers, incoming volunteers Clelia Ngatha and Francesca Gakii, the Caritas Director Fr. James Murithi, the Iriamurai Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Mbogo and other clergy. It was a beautiful occasion filled with gratitude, joy, and community spirit.

Bianca and Rosella were appreciated with thoughtful gifts, including Maasai shukas, Maasai sandals, and foodstuffs, as a token of appreciation for their service. The celebration also featured a cake and a shared meal that brought everyone together in happiness.
The new volunteers, Clelia and Francesca, were warmly welcomed and presented with traditional Kenyan bracelets and a cake, symbolizing unity and the beginning of their journey with the community.

We sincerely thank Bianca and Rosella for their commitment, companionship and the positive impact they have made during their time with us. We wish them all the very best in the next chapters of their lives.
